"Gonna Watch You Bloom" was created from some of my favorite flowers found around my Southern California neighborhood. There is always something blooming. I sometimes love the buds more than the blooms. The tiny little bundles that sprout up overnight. They are so beautiful all on their own. Each plant knows what time of year it is best for them. Each one has a season. This piece is drawn with marigolds, rock purslane and dahlias.
