Daffodils have been blooming around me for decades, I suppose, but I never took notice of them until now. And once I began drawing them, I fell a little in love with them. Along with the daffodils, small goldfinches began inhabiting the trees in my neighborhood. Every morning I watch them on my walks. But I wonder – were they always there and I just never looked closely enough? All these little things of beauty all around us when we slow down to really take it all in.
